Three major interstate highways, I-64, I-77, and I-79, all converge in Charleston. Daniel Boone was an early resident and a member of the Kanawha County Assembly. But what the city lacks in cosmopolitan shuffle, it makes up for with history, events, and a whole lot of things to do. That's really because it is, with a population that hovers just around 50,000.
